# How do I stop receiving emails from My Secret Santa?

My Secret Santa sends 3 types of emails, and each one is managed differently:

| Newsletters (1 or 2 a year)
* Click **Unsubscribe** at the bottom of the newsletter, then **Confirm unsubscribe**.
* Or uncheck **Allow My Secret Santa to send me information emails** in [My account](https://www.my-secret-santa.org/user-profil) > **My preferences**.

| Event notifications and reminders (participants)
New message, shared wishlist, unread message reminder, wishlist not written yet…
* Click **Manage email notifications** at the bottom of the email: you land on the **Notifications & email reminders** page of your participant area, where you choose which emails you want to receive for this event.
* That's also where you set up **notifications on your phone** (Notifications on this device).

| Essential emails
The invitation to a draw, your account confirmation or the link to change your password can't be turned off: they're needed for the service to work.
