# How do I take part in a draw?

To take part, an **organizer must have created an event** and you must be registered in it. You can be registered by the organizer, or register yourself if the organizer has shared a sign-up link.

Once the invitations are sent, you receive an invitation email with your personal link to your **participant area** (no account needed).

In your participant area, you can:
* **draw** the person you'll be spoiling,
* write your **wishlist**,
* exchange **anonymous messages** with your Secret Santa and your recipient,
* find **gift ideas**,
* and, on the big day, start the **gift exchange**.

|| Tip: you can install the participant area on your phone's home screen, just like an app.
