# How do I use gift lists?

You can add gift ideas to 2 types of lists (**Ideas** tab):
* **My wishlist**: it appears in your wishlist (**My gift ideas** section), visible to your Secret Santa(s) and to the participants you've shared your wishlist with
* **My private ideas list**: visible only to you, handy for planning your own gifts

| Adding or removing an idea
To add an idea, click the icon of the list you want. To remove it, click the same icon again.

|| You can also add an idea you found elsewhere with **Add an idea by URL**, and add notes to each idea with **Edit / Annotate**.
